Last term Heritage High School visited Tibshelf School to compete in the District Indoor Athletics Competition.
The Student teams competed in a range of athletic events, including; obstacle relays, shot put, long jump, triple jump, speed bounce, 2-8 lap races and relays.
All teams put in an exceptional effort and saw this effort payoff with reward. The year 7 boys and girls teams along with the Year 8 boys team all secured first place in their events with the Year 8 girls team also securing 3rd place in their group. The teams that won first place also moved on to a championship event taking place on a separate day last term, again all students taking part put on an incredible performance.
The students were a credit to their school at all sporting events showing respect and sportsmanship alongside hard work and determination which were all rewarded with their results.
