Last night Miss Csomor and Miss Hockley took some of our female footballers to the SMH Group Stadium in Chesterfield to watch the F&E showcase game, Chesterfield Women FC against Bolton Wanderers. It was a great showcase of women’s football and a very close game too. Unfortunately, Bolton’s goal in the first half sealed the victory for them, which also meant that they won the league and were presented with the trophy at the end of the game. It was also amazing to see an ex-student of ours playing, Sophie who left last year and is now on the Chesterfield FC college pathway. We are very proud, well-done Sophie!
